☘️ Every March, I Paint Shamrocks.
Growing up in a multigenerational home, we were always wrapped in the warmth of our Irish grandmother's love. Whether she was tying on her well-worn apron or brewing a pot of tea, she filled our days with stories, traditions, and a deep love for all things lucky and green. St. Patrick's Day meant rainbows, Shamrock Shakes, and homemade Irish soda bread.
As the years passed, I found myself drawn to symbols like the shamrock and the four-leaf clover - reminders of what endures: faith, love, hope, and luck. The shamrock holds a special place in my heart as a reminder to believe in the magic that we can't always see.
☘️ Group-Friendly: One course covers your whole party - no need to buy multiples!

🎨 Supplies you’ll need:
Canvases – square stretched canvases work great for this project. 10x10 is a good average, 8x8, 12x12 – any size will work. Rectangular canvases are fine too.
Acrylic paints – Titanium White, Mars Black, Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, and any colors you like. You can buy greens or mix yellow and blue to create greens. Metallics or neon paint can be fun but aren’t necessary. Liquitex Basics or Amsterdam Standard are good quality. Experiment with any acrylic paints you have.
Brushes – basic acrylic brushes work. They don’t need to be expensive.
Set-Up: Tablecloths, a cup for water, rag or paper towels, and a palette: paper plate, foil, used washed take out container
Totally optional: Acrylic paint pens, flat gemstones and glue, or any kind of decorative add ons like gold coins, charms, or glitter
